Vintage Hall Tree
Beautiful vintage hall tree features two hooks and an oval beveled mirror on the top section. Original wood appliques decorate each top corner. The mirror has some silver loss around the edges which only adds to the vintage character. In the center there is a storage box with a lid. On either side there is an opening for umbrellas or canes. I have built removeable shelves so that these open spaces can be closed off and used for additional open storage. The bottom side boxes have been tiled in a beautiful tiny linear marble to protect the bottom from moisture if used for wet umbrellas.
The entire piece has been brightened with a fresh coat of Fusion mineral paint in Victorian Lace. The piece was then stenciled using” Victorian Allover Scroll” in a custom mix of Victorian Lace and Algonquin. The edges of the top section and inside of the box have been highlighted with Fusion metallic Vintage Gold paint. Entire piece was top coated with multiple coats of Varathane Diamond finish in satin.
This piece would look beautiful as a wedding welcome sign. Vinyl lettering could be added to the mirror and cards placed in the storage box. If you are having an outdoor wedding, then this is the perfect place to hold umbrellas. Floral décor adds the finishing touch. After the wedding, can be used in your home as a wonderful memory of your day.
